Messiah's Mission Matters Team hosted our 5th Annual Drive-Thru Winter Clothing Collection on Saturday, January 11. A heartfelt thank you for your outpouring of donations!
It was a great opportunity to collect warm clothing and other items to help local people in need stay warm this winter. Your donations included these items: 104 pairs of socks; 95 hats/beanies/earmuffs; 81 coats/jackets; 56 long-sleeved shirts & t-shirts; 44 pairs of gloves/mittens; 39 kids misc. items; 36 hoodies/sweatshirts; 24 pairs of boots/shoes; 22 pairs of pants/snow pants; 21 adult misc. items; 15 scarves/ gators; 13 blankets and 1 pajama set.
This collection of blessings was received and greatly appreciated by the following location organizations: Open Doors 65, New Life Center, and Cass County Jail. We would also like to thank KFGO radio for their free publicity of our clothing drive.
